Get Safe for Summer Event

Sandra Turney Swim School will be holding a “Get Safe for Summer” event w/c June 28th 2010.  The event will take place in all our venues and all lessons during this week will be focusing on Water Safety and personal survival.  This is an important event in raising awareness in children of the potential danger while playing in or near water while on their summer holidays.  All children will have receive a badge and certificate, a copy of the Water Safety Code and the ASA Get Safe for Summer leaflet.  Thee will also be a colouring in competition with the chance to win some great prizes.  For furthe details or to book a lesson during this important week, please call us on 0845 116 2495

    The water safety lesson was excellent. It has given us lots of ideas for discussion. Sophie thought that it was great fun “rescuing” Will! I hope that she will be able to share things that she learnt last night with her friends at school. Thanks for introducing this before the holiday season!

    Thankyou for your lovely comments Helen, I am pleased Sophie found it useful. She may be interested in taking part in the Rookie Lifeguard courses we have planned for September, running at both Charles Parsons School in Walker and Boldon School.
