Sandra Turney Swim School Ltd was founded in 2007 in order to meet the demand for high quality swimming lessons in the North East. At that time we had 8 clients having one to one swimming lessons with Sandra at the Gosforth Park Marriott Hotel. Since that time the Swim School has grown and now provides 110 one to one lessons each week across 6 venues. We also offer group swimming lessons for children and adults alike and baby sessions. We also offer courses on behalf of the Royal Life Saving Society, including the Rookie Lifeguard (for children aged 8-13 years) and the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
We recognise that good teaching is about more than qualifications, so as well as being ASA Level 2 qualified, our teachers are selected for the rapport they have with pupils of all ages and the ability they have to put pupils at ease.
We provide regular pupil progress report and carry out Customer Satisfaction Surveys to ensure the quality of the service we provide. In 2009 we were awarded with an Oustanding Achievement Award and a Top Teacher Award (Bronze) by the Amateur Swimming Association.
